These pages are still being completed. Details marked “to be added” will be supplied before online payment is opened.
These rights derive from Icelandic law. They are not a service that LE BENIC chooses to offer, and they cannot be limited.
1. Defective products
A product is defective if it does not correspond to its description, to the quality you are entitled to expect or to safety requirements, or if it arrives damaged (Lög um neytendakaup nr. 48/2003).
Notify us within a reasonable time of noticing the defect, and no later than two years after you received the product. You do not need the original packaging, and the product need not be unopened.
2. Remedies available to you
- A replacement product.
- A reduction in price.
- Cancellation of the purchase and a refund, provided the defect is not minor.
- Compensation for loss caused by the defect.
LE BENIC bears the cost of returning a defective product.
3. How to make a complaint
Email contact@le-benic.com with your order number and a brief description. A photograph is helpful but not required. We reply without undue delay.
If your skin reacts to a product, stop using it and let us know, so that we can assist you and report the matter where required.
4. Changing your mind
Independently of any defect, you may withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. See Returns & Refunds.
5. Dispute resolution
You may refer the dispute to the complaints board for goods and services, an independent dispute-resolution body established under Lög nr. 81/2019:
Kærunefnd vöru- og þjónustukaupa, Borgartún 29, 105 Reykjavík, island.is/v/kaerunefnd-voru-og-thjonustukaupa
Neytendastofa (the Consumer Agency) supervises consumer protection and marketing in Iceland. You may also bring a claim before the Icelandic courts.
6. Governing legislation
