le-benic.com sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. It stores two small items in your browser so that the cart and your chosen language work as expected.
1. What is stored

Both are first-party browser storage (localStorage). They remain on your device, are never sent to us and do not identify you.
2. Why there is no cookie banner
Under Lög um fjarskipti nr. 70/2022, Article 88(2), consent is not required for storage that is strictly necessary for a service you have requested, such as a shopping cart or a language you have selected. We use nothing else, so there is nothing to accept or decline.
3. Fonts and scripts from other servers
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and animation scripts from cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr. These servers receive your IP address in order to deliver the files; LE BENIC does not place cookies through them. See the Privacy Policy.
4. Removing stored items
You can delete the stored items at any time by clearing the site data for le-benic.com in your browser settings. Your cart will then be empty, and the website will display in English.
5. Future changes
Should we ever introduce analytics, marketing tools or embedded content that stores data on your device, we will ask for your consent first, with accepting and declining made equally easy, and we will update this page before anything is loaded.
