My Story

LE BENIC was born in Iceland — but its story began with a feeling.

Iceland changed more than my surroundings. It changed my perspective. It made me question the way I saw myself, the people around me, and the problems we carry with us. In the silence and rawness of this place, I began to see some things more clearly — and others as far less important than I once believed.

Iceland can be raw and unforgiving. The wind, the cold, the dark winters, and a landscape shaped by forces far greater than ourselves. And yet, within all that wildness lies an extraordinary sense of peace. A silence that makes you slow down. A beauty that exists not despite the harshness of this land, but somehow because of it.

It was this contrast that became the inspiration for LE BENIC.

I wanted to create skincare that carries the same sense of balance — something that deeply nourishes the skin while awakening the senses. Something that protects and cares for it, yet has the power to transform an everyday routine into a moment of stillness.

As a nurse, caring for people has always come naturally to me. It has taught me that true care is rarely only about the body. It is also about how we feel, the power of touch, the scents we remember, and those moments when we finally allow ourselves to slow down.

LE BENIC brings these two worlds together.

I spent a long time developing my own signature scent and searching for harmony between pure, high-quality essential oils and carefully selected ingredients. I didn’t want to create just another body product. I wanted to create a ritual — one that feels beautiful on the skin and leaves something with us long after we use it.

Because Iceland taught me something I wanted to carry into LE BENIC:
